Named as one of the “25 Most Romantic Cities in America” by OpenTable, Atlantic City is chock full of events and attractions for those special date nights for you and your valentine, and a few of our favorites are listed here.
First, check out the calendar for the Dante Hall Theater of the Arts, a beautifully restored and intimate performing arts center. Upcoming events include a Chinese New Year community celebration on February 16, with fun and family-friendly events such as dumpling making, bamboo brush artistry, and water calligraphy, along with a performance by the Penn Lions Dance Troupe.
Additional fun and romantic things to do include strolling hand-in-hand on the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk, or taking a ride or two at the Steel Pier’s amusement park – the top of the Ferris wheel is the perfect spot to steal a kiss, and maybe even pop the question. Next, climb all 228 steps for a spectacular view of the city from the top of the Absecon Lighthouse. Lastly, board any of the vessels of Atlantic City Cruises to dolphin-watch, or just cozy up together and feel the ocean breeze in your faces as you cruise peacefully along.
